Beginning her journey in the healthcare industry in 1990, Jodie Martin soon discovered her love of natural medicine and the healing power of food. After becoming a nutritionist, Jodie turned her attention to plant-based, holistic diets which have seen her help an enormous number of clients. As the founder of Empirical Nutrition, she now aims to guide as many people as possible down the road to true health through nutritious, plant-based eating.

Jodie’s experience enables her to treat people suffering from food allergies and intolerance's including coeliac disease, lactose intolerance and fructose malabsorption.Other conditions including heart disease, high cholesterol (etc) can also be assisted through sound diet and lifestyle advice. She is also able to offer nutritional advice for those simply wishing to embrace a healthier outlook on food.

After numerous years of working alongside naturopaths, Jodie utilises a holistic and integrative approach, basing her diet plans around plant-based food which promotes optimum health and nutrition. 

With so much misinformation out there, there is a lot of confusion about what is ‘healthy’ and ‘good for us’. Jodie aims to cut through this noise and focus on simple, practical advice that embraces wholesome, nutritious food to fuel and nourish your body and mind.
